IEEE ITW2021

The 2021 IEEE Information Theory Workshop (ITW2021) will be held as a virtual event.

Kanazawa

2021 IEEE Information Theory Workshop

ITW2021 is venue for dissemination of top-quality research in information theory. The workshop features 4 plenary talks and 4 invited sessions on focused topics within information theory.  We have 4 tutorials and approximately 120 contributed presentations.  Originally planned to be held in Kanazawa, Japan, the format has changed to a virtual event due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.

Plenary Speakers

We are excited to welcome plenary presentations by four distinguished speakers on emerging topics of information theory, including finite-blocklength information theory, communications with model-based learning, and information-theoretic security.

Workshop Schedule

Day 01 17 Oct, 2021
6:00 pm - 8:50 pm (JST)
Tutorial: Code-Based Cryptography

Currently-used public-key cryptosystems based on number-theoretic problems are threatened by the possibility that large-scale quantum computers will be built in the near future; Shor’s algorithm is
